Great stay overall. View was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Check in was good and the staff was attentive and friendly. Only minor complaints were the AC humidifier was super loud in the bedroom and some gnats got into one of our prepackaged breakfast bars, but a replacement was given.
We loved our stay at Sandaway. We stayed in Room 108, a 2nd floor suite in a separate building next to the main B&B lodge. We loved the bayview from the room and the screened in balcony, and the breakfast baskets left at or door in the morning. Oxford is great, too.
We brought our bikes, so glad we did. Great way to see this little town.

The Sandaway is my favorite bed and breakfast in Maryland! The breakfast baskets are the best, and nothing compares to watching a sunset from their private beach. I can't wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed at Sandaway for our honeymoon right after our wedding, and it was exactly the retreat that we needed. The staff was friendly and took great care of us, and the room was so cute and comfortable. You have the option of getting a breakfast basket delivered every morning with some great pastries and hot coffee and cold juice. The lawn in the back is right on the water and looks just like a postcard; my husband and I sat out and enjoyed the sunset every night we were there. Oxford in early October was so peaceful and quiet and there are several great restaurants within walking distance of the Sandaway. When we wanted to find a little more hustle and bustle, it was only a short drive to St Michael's. We had an amazing time and would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from it all.
