Great atmosphere food and service. Always has something special on the menu. While a little pricy it's worth every penny. When we go to Oxford always make it a point to have at least one dinner there.
First of all, our server Sandra and the buss staff were attentive. Expect good food - that would be easy when your entire food menu is one page (just the front) - but your wine list is two pages long...We ordered a salad with blue cheese - nothing to write home about. However the ceviche was on point! - Probably the best I ever had. However, the portion size and 8 chips that accompanied it were disheartening. As was the portion size of the crab cake. It was, however, the crab cake was awesome. Kudoos for the great food. However, for the extremely steep prices, it isn't worth the experience.
We were ignored multiple times, despite every other table getting far better service. We waited over an hour for a decent, but way over-priced salad. Then waited even longer for the saltiest, lemoniest sauce on their chicken dish I've ever tasted. The chicken itself was good, but I needed a gallon of water to overcome the intensity of the salt, and couldn't finish what would have otherwise been really appetizing artichokes. After seeing the reviews here, I had to give an alternate experience.

Great food, nice atmosphere, out of the way location.
Really nice inn in oxford. Comfortable room and bath. Good food and bar. Walking distance to docs sunset grille.
Note - I do NOT recommend the alfresco dining experience at this place. Not a great view and the mosquitos are vicious!
